I was driving by the city barn Saturday and noticed graffiti on some city vehicles. One of them was a rather nast expletive. Not something most people want their kids exposed to. I understand that this happened a while back. I want to know why the city employees have not taken the time to at least get a can of spraypaint and paint it over? I mean this is a joke. I am not very pleased with the output we get out of these guys. It seems they do less and less for our city. Why do we put up with this? Is it time to shake some things up in their ranks? I have to wonder just what they do each and every day. We have elected a new city council - and I think we need to make sure that we all pay attention to what is going on in city government. Just because the election is over - do not let the people take a free ride. I wonder if the new council and mayor have the guts to do what this city really needs? Can they clean up our town, can they rid us of the animal problem? Can they actually pass a statute that will eliminate farm animals in city limits? I honestly doubt they will do anything except follow the status quo. We shall see.

The animals need to go. I live in town not on a farm and dont like the smell that goes with animals.
The trash and junk around town needs cleanedup. How long do we have to look at the trash pile on the highway before its cleaned up or the wind blows it all over the neighborhood.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not for more government but when people aren't responsible to maintain their property then something needs to happen.
I guess the junk yard on main street and the trash pile on the highway are our contributions to this centennial year. If the people here want a trash pile and farm for a town, thats where we are at. Happy 100th birthday Oklahoma.

The graffiti needs to be covered or removed too.

I read your post and drove around to look and I now understand your question. I saw at least 3 on the highway and the same amount on Main Street and too many to mention all over town. We will see if the new mayor does anything or not and if nothing else it gives me something to gripe about on the internet.
